Terms & Conditions 2018
For bespoke orders we will set up a time for an initial discussion. We ask that you provide us with an indication of your ideas and design preferences - this allows us to be effective with the design time.
We will then provide an initial cost estimate and lead time.
Should you wish to proceed, a non-refundable 50% payment of this initial estimate is due upon confirmation of your order. We invoice for the remaining 50% upon completion, once payment is received we will post your order.
Design revisions for bespoke orders
Our estimates include up to three drafts. Designs are personal to each client and it is important that we get your designs just right - tweaks are part of this process. We always endeavour to achieve your design ideals within the three draft revisions, however on occasion a design may need additional drafts to get it just right, in that instance we will agree a new price with you.
Our non-bespoke orders are printed on demand and tailored to suit your personalised text.

Our typical lead time for these orders is 4 weeks from the proof sign off.
Design revisions for customised orders
Our fee allows for minor tweaks following the presentation of the proof based upon your information provided to us. Should more substantial changes be required, we will contact you to inform you of additional fees that may be required.
Proof reading is your responsibility so please double check the design and particularly your text and spelling. We ask you to sign off proofs before printing – Something Made cannot be held responsible for any errors present in the approved proof.
We will agree deadlines with you, which will include timescales for you to give us your comments. Deadlines are occasionally subject to change for reasons outside our control. We will notify you of any delay to the completion date in advance.
Our designs allow a space for the client to hand write individual guest names.
Screen printing is a bespoke process and once set up the design is fixed – individual names must be written in by the client – a space will be left for this in the design, unless agreed otherwise
Similarly, the proof will include colour or a colour sample. While we do all we can to match colours, we ask that you understand that achieving an identical representation is not an exact science.
All prices are based on costs from the time of quoting. While we endeavour to honour these costs, they may occasionally be subject to change. We will notify clients of any change in cost before amending the bill.
Our screen printed products are hand printed and hand finished. This will result in variations in the finish of each piece – this is part of the beauty of screen printing.
Materials and ethos
We source high quality materials to ensure our stationery is as special as the events for which they are designed.
Travel and postage & packing expenses are chargeable at cost.
All designs are the copyright of Something Made. They may not be reproduced without prior arrangement and written consent from Something Made - we reserve the right to use the designs we make for you to promote Something Made. We will contact you before doing so.
In the highly unlikely event that we have to cancel your order before we have begun work, we would refund your initial payment – If, however, you should need to cancel your order with us once we have commenced work, your initial payment to us would be forfeited. If cancellation occurs once materials have been ordered, you will be liable to pay for materials. If cancellation occurs after final proof sign-off you will still be liable to pay the full balance.
